The Defence Research and Development Organisation successfully completed trials of the indigenous ULPGM-V3 missile near Kurnool. 2. Tamil Nadu announces Free Silt Removal from Tanks & Ponds for Farmers

Tamil Nadu launched a free silt removal initiative covering nearly 40,000 tanks and ponds statewide. Farmers and pottery workers can collect nutrient-rich silt to improve soil quality while simultaneously increasing reservoir storage capacity before the northeast monsoon, supporting both agriculture and water conservation efforts.
