Trump Warns Netanyahu Over Attacks on Iran Energy Sites

Washington: Tensions in the Middle East are rising fast as Israel continues attacks on Iran’s oil reserves and gas terminals.

Reacting to this, US President Donald Trump has warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop targeting energy facilities.

Trump said such attacks could make the global fuel crisis even worse. He warned that Iran may retaliate by attacking oil and gas facilities in Gulf countries — which could push the region into deeper conflict.

Because of the ongoing situation, the entire Middle East is on edge, and global markets are already feeling the impact.

  • Crude oil prices have jumped to $119 per barrel
  • LPG prices have risen by around 6% in just one day

Experts fear that if attacks continue, fuel prices could rise even further, affecting countries like India.

Trump also clarified that the US has no plan for a ground attack on Iran, but stressed that oil and gas facilities must be protected to avoid a global crisis.

Meanwhile, US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said America will continue oil exports, and there is no plan to stop supply.

In another reaction, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer strongly condemned Iran’s attack on Qatar.

What This Means

  • Middle East tensions are increasing rapidly
  • Global fuel prices are rising
  • Risk of wider conflict involving Gulf countries
  • Possible impact on India’s fuel supply and economy
