Saudi Arabia Warns Iran After Missile and Drone Attacks in Gulf Region

Tensions in the Gulf region are rising as several countries accuse Iran of targeting civilian infrastructure during the ongoing regional conflict.
Bahrain has claimed that Iran carried out a drone attack on a desalination plant, which is an important facility that provides drinking water to people in the region.
Reports say Iran has already launched hundreds of missile and drone attacks on Gulf countries in recent days.
In Saudi Arabia, authorities reported that a missile landed in a residential area, leaving several people injured.
Saudi Arabia Issues Strong Warning
Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Iran’s actions and warned that continued attacks could have serious consequences.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said that if the attacks continue, Iran will suffer the most damage.
The ministry also said that attacks on airports, oil facilities, and civilian areas threaten regional security and stability. According to Saudi officials, such actions are also a clear violation of international laws.
Saudi Arabia Rejects Iran’s Claims
Saudi Arabia also rejected Iran’s claim that the kingdom allowed fighter jets and refueling aircraft to operate from its territory for the war.
The Saudi government clarified that the aircraft mentioned by Iran were only conducting air patrol missions to monitor the airspace of Saudi Arabia and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and to defend against possible missile and drone attacks.
Warning of Rising Regional Tensions
Saudi Arabia warned that Iran’s actions could increase tensions across the Gulf region and harm both current and future relations between the two countries.
Officials said ensuring the security of Gulf nations should be a priority, and continued attacks will only make the situation worse.
