The centerpiece of Trump’s new initiative is the AI Action Plan, which aims to boost America’s global competitiveness in AI, particularly against China. While the plan includes key support for tech development and infrastructure, it also introduces a controversial provision — demanding AI models maintain political neutrality, especially when handling sensitive or divisive topics.

The announcements were made during a speech at an event hosted by the All-In Podcast and the Hill & Valley Forum. Trump declared that America must do “whatever it takes” to lead in the AI race, while also criticizing President Biden and discussing various global issues, including Ukraine.
