India Become First Team to Win Back-to-Back T20 World Cups

Ahmedabad: India have been crowned T20 World Cup champions after defeating New Zealand in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

After winning the toss, New Zealand chose to bowl first, but India delivered a dominant batting performance. The Indian team posted a massive 255 runs on the board, putting New Zealand under huge pressure in the final.

India’s batters attacked from the start and kept the scoreboard moving, building one of the highest totals ever seen in a T20 World Cup final.

New Zealand All Out for 159

Chasing a huge target of 256 runs, New Zealand struggled against India’s disciplined bowling attack.

Indian bowlers kept taking regular wickets and never allowed the Kiwi batters to build strong partnerships. New Zealand were eventually bowled out for 159 runs, giving India a 96-run victory in the final.
