Pahalgam Terror Attack: PM Modi Returns to Delhi Early from Saudi Visit

Following the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cut short his official visit to Saudi Arabia and returned to Delhi. The Prime Minister took this step to closely monitor the situation and coordinate the government’s response. The attack, which targeted tourists in the Baisaran Valley, claimed the lives of at least 26 people and injured many others. PM Modi had earlier condemned the attack and assured that those responsible will be brought to justice. High-level security meetings are expected in the capital following his return.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi earlier than planned after the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. According to government sources, he skipped an official dinner hosted by Saudi Arabia as a mark of urgency. He was originally scheduled to return on Wednesday night but cut his trip short to personally oversee the response to the attack.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman strongly condemned the attack and offered his condolences to the families of the victims, calling the loss of innocent lives deeply tragic.
