1. US to withdraw 5,000 troops from Germany.

 The US is withdrawing 5,000 troops from Germany as a result of differences of opinion between Europe and the USA regarding the Iran war. The US President had earlier threatened to quit the NATO alliance. As a result, the Pentagon has confirmed the withdrawal of troops from Germany.

2. Russia successfully tests new Soyuz-5 rocket:

 Russia has successfully tested the Soyuz-5 rocket. According to reports, the new rocket is capable of carrying payloads of up to 17 metric tonnes. It is part of the Russian space agency, Roscosmos. It is claimed to be among the world's most powerful liquid-fueled rockets and is expected to help reduce launch costs and improve efficiency in placing satellites into near-Earth orbit.
