PM Modi in Bikaner: Hails Armed Forces, Slams Pakistan Over Terrorism Post ‘Operation Sindoor
Bikaner, May 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed a massive public rally in Bikaner, Rajasthan, where he praised the valor of the Indian Armed Forces and launched a scathing attack on Pakistan in the aftermath of the recent military action dubbed Operation Sindoor.
Referring to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, PM Modi vowed that India would respond with unyielding force. “On April 22, terrorists destroyed the sindoor of our sisters by targeting them for their faith. The bullets were fired in Pahalgam, but they pierced the hearts of 140 crore Indians,” he said, adding, “The nation resolved that the perpetrators would face consequences beyond their imagination.”
Recalling his iconic 2019 Balakot airstrike speech, the Prime Minister declared, “Saugandh mujhe iss desh ki mitti ki, main desh nahi mitne dunga, main desh nahi jhukne dunga.” He added, “Those who came to erase sindoor, we have demolished them.”
Highlighting a symbolic parallel, Modi noted that just as his first rally post-Balakot was held in Rajasthan, his first rally after Operation Sindoor was also in the desert state. “It is a coincidence that my first rally after both the Balakot airstrikes and now Operation Sindoor is here, on the land of valor—Veerbhoomi Rajasthan,” he said.
Indian Forces Destroy 9 Terror Camps in 22 Minutes
The Prime Minister revealed key details of the recent operation, saying Indian forces destroyed nine major terrorist hideouts within just 22 minutes. “With your blessings and the bravery of our forces, we have delivered justice. Our government gave complete freedom to the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Together, they formed a ‘Chakravyuh’ that forced Pakistan to kneel,” Modi stated.
He warned the enemies of the nation that any act of terror against India would face swift and unforgiving retaliation. “The world has seen what happens when the sindoor of our sisters becomes gunpowder,” he said.
Emphasis on Development and Infrastructure
Switching to the theme of development, PM Modi reaffirmed his commitment to building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India). “Today, I come to you after seeking blessings from Karni Mata. Her divine grace inspires our journey towards a modern India,” he said.
He outlined the government’s achievements in infrastructure, noting a sixfold increase in spending over the past 11 years. “From roads and highways to airports and railway stations, India is undergoing rapid modernization,” Modi said.
A Message of Strength and Progress
PM Modi’s speech in Bikaner combined strong nationalistic messaging with a focus on development. By invoking recent military actions and showcasing India’s infrastructure achievements, the Prime Minister aimed to reinforce his image as a leader committed to both national security and progress.
