jaipur | Rajasthan: A high-tech robbery has been reported from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Thieves used Google Maps to find a house and stole ₹25 lakh in cash and gold jewellery.
Police have arrested two people. Three others are still missing.
What Happened?
The robbery took place on January 28 in Bhagirath Colony, C-Scheme area of Jaipur.
The house belongs to jewellery trader Rachna Sabikhi. She and her family had gone out for about three hours.
During that time, five thieves entered the locked house.
They stayed inside for nearly three hours. The accused took ₹25 lakh in cash from an almirah and gold jewellery worth lakhs. They also broke the CCTV cameras before leaving.

How Did They Plan It?
Police said the accused came from Delhi in a car.
They used Google Maps to search for good residential areas. After checking for locked houses, they targeted the empty home.
The car used in the crime had a stolen number plate from Delhi.

How Police Caught Them
Police checked footage from around 500 CCTV cameras.
A suspicious car was identified. With help from Delhi Police, Jaipur Police arrested two accused from Uttar Pradesh:
Shan Mohammad (25)
Shakeel Ahmed from Bijnor
Three other accused are still absconding. Police are searching for them.
