Grok 4
Elon Musk has announced that the newest version of xAI’s Grok language model, Grok 4, will launch this week. The release is scheduled for July 9 at 8 PM Pacific Time, which is 8:30 AM IST on Thursday.
This comes after Musk hinted last month that Grok 4 would be unveiled shortly after the U.S. Independence Day. Although previous updates—like the promised rollout of Grok 3.5 in May—faced delays and stirred doubts among users, xAI now appears ready to leap ahead with Grok 4.
Grok 4 is expected to bring significant improvements over its predecessors. While exact technical details haven’t been released yet, the new version is likely to offer faster performance, more accurate responses, and better contextual understanding—features crucial in today’s highly competitive AI landscape. With rising pressure from other AI giants, xAI is positioning Grok 4 as a major step forward in delivering a smarter and more capable chatbot experience.
