Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling announced that girls up to 14 years will receive a single-dose vaccine as part of a cancer prevention strategy. The Chief Minister’s Cancer Care Mission, with an outlay of ₹311 crore, will begin in 2026–27 to strengthen cancer treatment and prevention across the state.
