Cuttack: A breach of privilege notice has been served to Cuttack District Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde over alleged protocol violations during the Netaji Jayanti celebration held on January 23.
The notice was issued by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat after a formal complaint was filed by BJD MP Debashish Samantaray.
The event was attended by Vice-President of India and Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan.

His name was missing from the commemorative plaque.
An email invitation was sent at 8:30 PM on the night before the programme, making it impossible for him to attend.
