India Accuses Pakistan of Ceasefire Violation, Grants Military Full Freedom to Respond
New Delhi: India has acknowledged that Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement. India has stated that the security forces have been given full freedom to respond strongly. Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said in a press conference on Saturday that Pakistan is responsible for the violation of the ceasefire agreement. He reiterated that the security forces have been given the independence to give a strong response and emphasized that Pakistan must understand the seriousness of the situation.
India, in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack, launched “Operation Sindoor,” targeting terrorist hideouts across Pakistan, sending shockwaves through the entire nation. After continuous attacks for three days and Indian airstrikes, Pakistan, visibly disturbed, had been making low-level attacks on India — an act witnessed by the whole world. While India targeted terrorist camps, Pakistan retaliated by firing at civilians and launching drone attacks, to which the Indian army responded appropriately.
Due to Pakistan’s double standards, U.S. President Donald Trump found himself in an embarrassing situation. While he tried to take credit by announcing a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, Pakistan betrayed even him.
China Support to Pakistan
The ceasefire between India and Pakistan lasted only three hours before being broken. Pakistan resumed drone attacks on India. Now, China has openly taken Pakistan’s side, declaring its support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. China has also assured that all kinds of assistance will be provided to Pakistan for its protection. Following this support from China, Pakistan has become active once again.
